You can see a consultant directly, with no GP referral needed. Simply self-refer by phone or via our contact form. A referral letter is only required if you would like to go straight to a diagnostic test.
Step 2 Initial consultation
Your consultant takes time to understand your symptoms, history and any previous tests, then explains which investigations will help reach a clear diagnosis.
Step 3 Diagnostics & onward care
Tests may include gastroscopy, colonoscopy, BRAVO pH testing, upper-GI motility studies, bloods and stool tests, or scans such as CT, MRI/MRCP or EUS. Urgent cases are prioritised.
Step 4 Follow-up & treatment planning
You stay in regular contact with your consultant's team and a specialist nurse or dietitian where relevant, with follow-up tailored to your condition.
