Dr. Annalisa Crudeli is a consultant Gastroenterologist and specialist endoscopist. Her specialist interest include luminal gastroenterology, diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, bowel cancer prevention & screening endoscopy (nationally accredited bowel cancer screening colonoscopist), IBD, IBS, reflux disease, rectal bleeding, dyspepsia, peptic ulcer and coeliac disease
Bio
Dr Annalisa Crudeli is a UK and Italy-trained Luminal Consultant Gastroenterologist with a specialist interest in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, particularly colonoscopy, bowel cancer screening, and the removal of pre-cancerous polyps. She is an accredited Bowel Cancer Screening colonoscopist and has extensive experience in advanced resection techniques, including EMR, underwater EMR and advanced polyps resection techniques.
She qualified as a medical doctor in Rome and completed her specialist training in both Italy and the UK. In London, she undertook a two-year Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship at St Mark’s Hospital, a centre of excellence for intestinal and endoscopic disorders, followed by an IBD Fellowship at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital, a leading tertiary referral centre.
Dr Crudeli sees patients with a wide range of luminal gastrointestinal concerns, including IBS, IBD, reflux, rectal bleeding, dyspepsia, and coeliac disease, but her core clinical focus remains the prevention, early detection, and endoscopic management of colorectal cancer.
She currently practises across several leading clinics in London delivering meticulous, patient-centred care with a strong emphasis on quality and prevention.
