Dr Arun Rajendran
Dr. Arun Rajendran is a Consultant Gastroenterologist and specialist endoscopist with experience in the treatment and management of abdominal pain, Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Bloating, diarrhoea, acid reflux, heartburn and gastric ulcers. He is a specialist in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, advanced colonoscopy and polypectomy.
Bio
After graduating in 2001 and completing his postgraduate specialist gastroenterology training in North West London, Arun spent 3 years in St Marks Hospital for his postgraduate research and teaching fellowship. He was awarded a research MD from Kings College London (2020) following the submission of his thesis examining the learning curve of colonoscopic polypectomy.
He is skilled in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy including the assessment of Barrett’s, Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), polyps and cancers. He is well versed in English, Hindi, Tamil and Kannada.
He employs a patient centred approach and strives to provide a high quality, safe, efficient individualised care to all his patients.
