The prostate is a walnut-sized gland, between the bladder and penis in men. The prostate often enlarges with increasing age.
As it grows it can press on the urethra, causing problems with the flow of urine.
As many as a third of men over the age of 50 have urinary symptoms, the most common cause of problems is non-cancerous enlarged prostate or BPH.
iTind is a new approach to the treatment of prostate enlargement. It is a temporary implant that is inserted in a quick, minimally-invasive procedure.
The device presses on the urethra and improves the flow of urine.
