Mr. Mahantesh Karoshi is a highly regarded Consultant Gynaecologist known for his thoughtful leadership, patient centred approach, and dedication to advancing women's health both in the UK and internationally, with over 15 years of experience.
After training at leading London hospitals including St. George's, Kingston, Epsom and Frimley Park, Mr. Karoshi obtained Certificate of Completion of Training from General Medical Council. alongside prestigious qualifications such as MD, FRCOG and Diploma in Clinical Risk Management. His expertise covers a wide range of women's health care including fertility issues, menstrual bleeding disorders, painless hysteroscopy and the latest treatments for fibroids and adenomyosis.
Mr. Karoshi leads several advanced gynaecological services. He is a pioneer in offering conservative fibroid management through the Sonata System - a radiofrequency ablation technique, also called incisionless conservative fibroid treatment option. This approach offers women, particularly those around 35 or those seeking to avoid surgery, an effective alternative fibroid removal surgery be it open or keyhole or robotic.
In Mr. Karoshi has developed and expanded ambulatory gynaecology services within his Trust and offers the same services in his private clinics. This offer of service has significantly improved patient access and experience.
In addition, Mr. Karoshi has extensive experience in managing complex pelvic pain, endometriosis, subfertility and menopausal issues. His surgical skills include laparoscopic procedure for ovarian cyst, hydrosalpinx, embedded coil removal and Bartholin's cyst management.
Mr. Karoshi's philosophy is simple yet powerful: healthcare should adapt to women's' needs. He champions shared decision-making, open communication, and evidence based care. His work extends to authoring patient information materials and accessible health guides, ensuring women feel empowered and supported throughout their entire journey.
