Mr Hemant Vakharia is a Consultant Gynaecologist & Advanced Laparoscopic Surgeon at The London Clinic. Through his work, he is an expert in the minimal access management of many gynaecological conditions, including but not limited to, endometriosis, ovarian cysts, fibroids, adenomyosis.
Bio
Mr Hemant Vakharia is a leading Consultant Gynaecologist and Advanced Laparoscopic Surgeon with specialist expertise in endometriosis, fibroids, and minimally invasive keyhole surgery. He is committed to delivering personalised, evidence-based care with a focus on improving women’s health outcomes and quality of life.
Mr Vakharia graduated from the Royal Free & University College Medical School and completed his specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology within the North Central and East Thames rotation. He further enhanced his surgical expertise with advanced training in minimally invasive (keyhole) gynaecological surgery at Birmingham Women’s Hospital.
As a result of this specialist training, Mr Vakharia is highly skilled in the laparoscopic management of a wide range of gynaecological conditions, including endometriosis, ovarian cysts, fibroids, adenomyosis, heavy menstrual bleeding, ectopic pregnancy, miscarriage, and polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). He also regularly treats patients experiencing chronic pelvic pain, painful periods, fertility concerns, and other general gynaecological issues.
Alongside his clinical work, Mr Vakharia is deeply committed to advancing women’s healthcare through service development, medical education, and the adoption of innovative surgical techniques.
