The range of courses reflects the breadth of talent across our hospital, with colleagues developing their expertise in clinical microbiology, biomedical science, diabetes care, health and care management, patient safety and governance.

Together, these five applications are a strong example of our Centenary Strategy in action, particularly our ambition of being a great place to work. Supporting and developing our people is central to that ambition, helping colleagues grow their careers while building the skills and expertise The London Clinic needs for the future.

These fully funded courses show our commitment to supporting colleagues to grow their careers at The London Clinic. Through this new higher education funding route, we are investing in the skills, knowledge and fresh thinking that will help our people, our services and our hospital continue to grow.

Biomedical Scientist in Bacteriology Klylebel Senador has been approved for a Master’s in Clinical Microbiology at the University of Nottingham.

“The degree will allow me to add greater value to the service by improving diagnostic quality, supporting innovation, and helping the laboratory meet both current and future service demands.”

Stem Cell Laboratory Biomedical Scientist Rabiullah Zalmai has secured funding for a Master’s in Biomedical Science at the University of Greenwich.

“A master’s in biomedical science will enhance my diagnostic expertise and knowledge of emerging cellular therapies, enabling me to deliver high-quality patient care services while supporting the clinic’s commitment to excellence, innovation, and the continuous development its people.”

Diabetes Clinical Nurse Specialist Noumba Peti (pictured) has been approved for an MSc in Diabetes Clinical Care and Management at King’s College London.

“Gaining this qualification will help me champion best practice, be an influential clinical leader, and extend my impact beyond individual patients to the wider service and profession.”

Patient Safety Manager Claire McGauran has been approved to study a Patient Safety Specialist course at Loughborough University.

“This course will give me a stronger foundation for the role I currently perform, while helping me build new skills I can use and share across the Patient Safety team and within the organisation.”

Company Secretarial Assistant Caitlin Morton has secured support for the Chartered Governance Qualifying Programme through the Chartered Governance Institute.

“The qualification will equip me with the technical knowledge, analytical skills, professional competence and confidence required to add greater value in my role within the Company Secretarial team.”
