TFL's Please Offer Me a Seat Badges at The London Clinic

Transport for London not only offer ‘Baby On Board’ badges but ‘Please Offer Me a Seat’ badges. These are for people who may have hidden conditions, illnesses and injuries. Passengers wear the blue badge to alert fellow passengers of their need for a seat on public transport.

The new badge launched in response to passenger feedback and TFL research that found people with hidden disabilities and conditions, or those undertaking treatment, find it hard to get a seat when they require one – especially if their needs aren’t clear.

The London Clinic are now giving out 'Please Offer Me a Seat' badges for patients undergoing cancer treatments including chemotherapy and radiotherapy. As we are based in Harley Street, the epicentre of medical excellence, many of our patients come to The London Clinic using public transport.

If you struggle to stand while using public transport, we offer free badges to help support you in your journey home from visiting The London Clinic. Please ask a member of staff. Alternatively, you can request one for yourself here.
