Prof Tony Kochhar
Professor Kochhar's practice is based around the principle that an early, accurate diagnosis and prompt, specialist treatment will lead to a faster recovery and return to work. As a Visiting Professor in Sports Science at the University of Greenwich, he has the added knowledge base and experience to deal with shoulder and upper limb sports injuries and rehabilitation.
Bio
Professor Kochhar completed his specialist training at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in London and went on to complete his fellowship training at world-renowned the Alps Surgery Institute in Annecy, as well as Lennox Hill Hospital in New York.
He is a well-respected specialist shoulder and elbow surgeon with over 10 years' experience as a Consultant.
He has written many peer-reviewed articles on shoulder and upper limb conditions and regularly lectures nationally and internationally. Professor Kochhar is also a Visiting Professor at the University of Greenwich Faculty of Sports Science.
Professor Kochhar is married and has two children.
He enjoys travelling and has lived and worked in France and the US. He enjoys gym training and crossfit, football and cricket.
