Bio
Professor Darius Armstrong-James is a Clinical Senior Lecturer and Honorary Consultant in Infectious Diseases and Medical Mycology at the Royal Brompton and Harefield NHS Trust.
He has a background in internal medicine and infectious diseases, with sub-specialty interest in medical mycology. He has an academic interest in immunity to fungal infection, with a focus on pulmonary aspergillosis.
Prof James is also heavily involved in the development of novel fungal diagnostics and immunotherapies for fungal diseases. In addition, he runs diagnostic mycology at the Royal Brompton Hospital.
