Richard Leigh specialises in acute foot care including foot conditions related to diabetes, vascular pathology and neurological problems and continues research and publication in these and other foot related fields.

Richard is Chair of the English Diabetes Footcare Network. He is Chair of the London Foot Care Network for NHSE (London) and is a Member of the London Clinical Senate Council. Richard is a member of the editorial panel of The Diabetic Foot Journal and International Wound Journal.

He has recently completed a 3 year term as a Director of the Royal College of Podiatry. He has lectured worldwide.
