Mr Mohammed Al Ani consultant profile
Mr Mohammed Al Ani is a Consultant Colorectal and General Surgeon at The London Clinic, specialising in minimally invasive and robotic colorectal surgery. Mr Al Ani undertook specialist colorectal training across several leading NHS centres, including Addenbrooke’s Hospital and St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington. He subsequently completed advanced colorectal fellowships at The Royal Marsden Hospital and at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust.
He is a Consultant at The Hillingdon Hospital NHS Trust, having become certified in General Surgery (UK Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT)) and received formal JAG accreditation in colonoscopy. He completed an MSc in Clinical Drug Development at Queen Mary University of London, graduating with Merit in 2014, and later obtained Membership (MRCS) and Fellowship (FRCS) of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
He is dual robotic console trained and has extensive experience in robotic colorectal surgery, including surgery for colorectal cancer, robotic total mesorectal excision, and other advanced minimally invasive procedures.
In addition to colorectal surgery, Mr Al Ani performs a wide range of general surgical procedures, including hernia repair, gallbladder surgery, and abdominal wall reconstruction.
