Bio

Mr. Davide Patrini is a Consultant Thoracic Surgeon at The London Clinic and Clinical Lead of the Thoracic Department at University College London Hospitals (UCLH). With a wealth of experience in his field, Mr. Patrini completed his specialist training in Milan, Italy, and further honed his expertise at UCLH.

Since joining the thoracic unit at UCLH in 2014, Mr. Patrini has played a pivotal role in advancing the department. He has contributed significantly to the field of thoracic surgery, with over 70 scientific articles to his name and numerous presentations at national and international meetings. Additionally, Mr. Patrini has authored 6 book chapters.

Mr. Patrini's contributions extend beyond clinical practice, as he serves as a reviewer for several scientific journals and holds membership in various esteemed scientific societies, including the European Society of Thoracic Surgeons (ESTS), European Association for Cardio-Thoracic Surgery (EACTS), Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS), International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASCLC), and several interest groups focusing on thoracic malignancies.

His primary interests lie in thoracic surgical oncology, pleural diseases, and benign lung conditions, with expertise in both conventional and minimally invasive surgical approaches.
