Mr Ashwin Sridhar
Mr Ashwin Sridhar is a consultant Urologist specialising in the diagnosis and treatment of bladder cancer, prostate cancer and reconstructive surgery for ureteric and bladder problems. He has a special interest in improving patient outcomes after major cancer surgery.
Bio
Mr Ashwin Sridhar is a consultant Urologist working in the NHS at University College London Hospital NHS trust and privately at The London Clinic.
He has performed more than 1000 independent robotic procedures in pelvic cancer. Due to his expertise, he is a Proctor with Intuitive Surgical for training in Robotic Cystectomy and Intracorporeal Reconstruction (including creating new bladders), Robotic Prostatectomy (incl. Retzius-sparing technique and nerve-sparing technique), Robotic Salvage Prostatectomy and Robotic Reconstructive Surgery. He has trained and mentored surgeons across the UK and Europe in these specialised techniques.
Ashwin’s main interest is in minimally invasive surgery, image guided surgery in Urology and digitisation of surgery and surgical education. His aim is to provide world class cancer care for patients with pelvic urological cancers, those needing robotic pelvic urological reconstructive surgery, and to establish a multispecialty robotic training environment for continuous professional development.

- Robotic surgery for the management of prostate cancer (Prostatectomy) and bladder cancer (Cystectomy)
