Mr Alistair Slesser

Mr Alistair Slesser is a robotic surgeon specialising in colorectal cancer surgery and abdominal wall reconstructions, with an extensive colorectal and general surgical practice including endoscopy.
Bio
Mr Alistair Slesser is a Consultant Colorectal and General Surgeon with an expertise in endoscopy and robotic and keyhole surgery. He qualified from St Barts and The Royal London Medical School in 2003 and undertook his higher surgical training in North West London. During his training, he undertook his postgraduate research degrees at Imperial College London and The Royal Marsden Hospital.
He currently undertakes managerial and educational roles in the NHS including being a Medical Undergraduate Firm Lead for Imperial College and is currently the Clinical Cancer Lead for his NHS Trust.
He is a core member of the colorectal cancer MDT at his NHS base and leads the abdominal wall reconstruction unit and MDT which he set up.
Alistair continues to innovate and collaborate in robotic and keyhole surgery and recently was involved in the 'first' UK keyhole breast cancer flap mobilisation with his plastic surgical colleagues from the Royal Free Hospital.
