Dr Ziad Farah consultant profile
Dr Ziad Farah is a consultant in rheumatology and general internal medicine based in London, with over 16 years of experience.

Dr Farah is a substantive consultant in rheumatology and general internal medicine at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust. At Northwick Park Hospital, he runs a dedicated early inflammatory arthritis clinic as well as his general rheumatology clinics. He also cares for inpatients with complex medical presentations and leads a team of doctors managing acute patients in the Emergency Ambulatory Care unit. He received a Clinical Excellence Award in 2020 and again in 2021 for the quality of care he gives his patients.
Dr Farah studied medicine at University College London (UCL). In 2007, he completed a BSc in Physiology with first class honours and received the Dean’s List award for his physiology research. He completed his medical degree (MBBS) in 2010 with distinction, received six awards and was runner up for the University of London Gold Medal. He then completed his postgraduate medical and rheumatology training at leading London hospitals, including Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, Northwick Park Hospital and the Royal London Hospital.
Dr Farah holds a postgraduate degree in medical education from the Royal College of Physicians and UCL, and he still teaches medical students and doctors in training. He leads undergraduate rheumatology training for Imperial College London students at Northwick Park Hospital. He has published more than 25 papers in peer reviewed journals and has presented at more than 20 national and international medical conferences.
