Dr Saira Reynolds Consultant Profile

Dr Saira Reynolds is an experienced Consultant Nuclear Medicine Physician with a particular interest in advanced molecular imaging and radionuclide therapies (theranostics).

Her specialist areas are radionuclide therapy for neuroendocrine tumours, thyroid disease (benign and malignant), selective internal radiation therapy for liver cancers (SIRT) and prostate cancer. Her diagnostic practice includes nuclear cardiology, PET CT, general nuclear medicine and bone density (DEXA) studies.

Alongside her private practice, Dr Reynolds works at King’s College Hospital, London and is a course director and lecturer for online commercial courses on Thyroid Diagnostics and PET CT with international reach and teaches on the National Nuclear Medicine Programme.

She qualified from University of Sheffield Medical School in 1996 and completed specialist training in Nuclear Medicine at the Royal Brompton, Royal Marsden and Royal Free Hospitals following a period of prior general medical professional training in the UK.

She is a UK Ambassador for the Oncidium Foundation and is laser focused on optimising patient communication and experience in Nuclear medicine; she led the King’s team in collaboration with the British Nuclear Medicine Society to deliver the Autumn 2025 conference programme showcasing local radionuclide therapy practice and a dedicated day to The Patient Voice in Nuclear Medicine therapies, with narratives from patients.
