Our pharmacy team is made up of qualified pharmacists and technicians that provide safe and effective medication for all patients at The London Clinic. 

After your treatment or surgery, a consultant may write a prescription that will be conveniently dispensed by our onsite pharmacy. 

This means that you can leave with everything you need to start your recovery at home.

A pharmacist will inform you on how to take your medicine correctly. They will talk through any possible side effects and give advice on managing them.

Our pharmacy team help with:

  • Advising medical and nursing staff 
  • Reviewing your prescription 
  • Supplying medication
  • Giving you expert information 

During your stay, please let a nurse know if you’d like to speak to the pharmacist when they visit your floor. They are a reassuring and helping hand during your treatment journey. Tell us as soon as you arrive if you have any allergies, and we’ll give you a red ID band so all our staff 
will know. 

Please ask the pharmacy team any questions you might have about your medication or the side effects.

Opening hours

09:00am to 19:00pm

9:30am to 13:00pm

11:00am to 12:00pm (for inpatients only)

We also provide a 24 hour on-call pharmacy service for emergencies.

Our warm and friendly team supports consultants and nurses to ensure that medicines are used safely and effectively by all of our patients. Making sure you receive the right medication at the right time is at the heart of everything they do. 

The pharmacy is part of the multidisciplinary team at the hospital. They work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure you receive the best and most personalised care.

Our pharmacy team promises to be there for you when you need them the most. This includes out of hours support for emergencies - we are always just a phone call away.

Sometimes expensive medicines can be a financial challenge if you aren’t insured. We may be able to offer support when it comes to paying for your treatment.

Pharmacy technicians make sure essential medicines are always available on the wards. Having adequate stock levels is vitally important to minimise treatment delays.

Pharmacists monitor your prescriptions daily to ensure that treatments are safe and effective. 

Details of your medication are always treated with the strictest code of conduct. Patient confidentiality is taken very seriously by our team members. 

Here at The London Clinic, we care for a wide range of patients including those with complex conditions that may require expensive and specialist medicines. 

The pharmacy team is exceptionally knowledgeable and can give you advice and guidance on all types of medication. They are trained to a very high standard to enable them to provide a patient-focused and discreet service to all.
