Bio

Mr. Jonathan Dawson is a Consultant Breast Surgeon, specialising in breast cancer surgery. He was an NHS Consultant for 28 years but now works as a private consultant at the London Clinic. He has a wealth of experience and an enduring academic and practical interest in the treatment of wide range of breast conditions and especially breast cancer.

He qualified in Medicine in 1982 from Imperial College, London, before developing a career interest in breast cancer and surgery. He was a Lecturer for University College London for 8 years, where he undertook research in breast cancer treatments and published numerous articles based on his research. 

He has been awarded the Blackwell Scientific prize, Percy Noble Research Award and the Rockerfeller Research Fellowship. He was a Royal Society of Medicine Overseas Travelling Fellow, a visiting fellow at Cleveland Clinic USA and a consultant surgeon and visiting lecturer at Prince of Wales Hospital, Chinese University of Hong Kong.
