Mr David Gordon
Mr David Gordon is a fellowship trained consultant orthopaedic surgeon, specialising in foot and ankle surgery, as well as trauma. He is one of the most experienced keyhole (minimally invasive) bunion (hallux valgus) surgeons in the world, having used this technique since 2012. He has performed over 2000 keyhole foot procedures and has published and presented his ground breaking research around the world.
Bio
As well as bunions, David also treats the full range of foot and ankle conditions, often with keyhole techniques. Non-surgical treatments are always considered before surgery and David has a strong network of allied healthcare professionals to refer to.
He was raised in London and qualified from Liverpool Medical School in 1998 with a Distinction in Cell Biology. Following his membership to the Royal College of Surgeons, David's specialist training took place around London, including St. Mary's Hospital (Imperial) and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Standmore. He spent a year in Sydney, Australis, undertaking fellowship training in foot, ankle and knee surgery. On his return, he completed a Trauma Fellowship at the Royal London Hospital.
David lives in Hertfordshire with his family and 3 pets. He is an avid cyclist and escapes to the countryside roads or trails most weekend mornings, come rain or shine. As an ex University player, Mr Gordon enjoys watching rugby and having hand built a Westfield sports car, he follows Formula 1. His perfect holiday is skiing with the family and loves macro photography.
