Sexual Health Plus
Sexual Health Plus is offered as an extension to the Sexual Health Package, providing you with the flexibility to choose additional tests based on your specific needs, with charges applied separately depending on the results. After the initial assessments, your GP will guide you on whether a more detailed evaluation is necessary, and the Sexual Health Plus add-on is available for this purpose. It encompasses extended sexual profiles, including more detailed syphilis, HIV, hepatitis screenings, and common STIs like chlamydia and HPV. These discreet packages offer peace of mind for anyone with sexual health concerns.
- Syphilis Serology: This test assesses the presence of antibodies to the syphilis bacterium. It helps diagnose and monitor syphilis infections.
- HIV1&2/P24 (HIV Viral Load): This test measures the viral load of HIV-1 and HIV-2 and detects the presence of p24 antigen. It's crucial for monitoring HIV infection and the effectiveness of treatment.
