Marta De Oliveira Consultant Profile
Marta qualified as a physiotherapist in Portugal in 2009, initially working in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy. She later moved to the UK to further her studies and professional development. Since then, she has undertaken extensive training in Women’s and Men’s Health Physiotherapy and is a member of the POGP (Pelvic, Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy) network. She completed her Master’s degree in Women’s Health Physiotherapy at the University of Bradford in 2021.
Marta treats both women and men with a wide range of pelvic health conditions. She has a specialist interest in pelvic pain, painful sex, and sexual dysfunction, and is particularly passionate about supporting patients with conditions such as vaginismus. She is currently undertaking further training in psychosexual medicine, allowing her to take a more integrated, whole-person approach that considers both the physical and emotional aspects of pelvic health.
Her goal is not only to empower patients and support their recovery, but also to provide a compassionate, high-quality service that helps patients feel more confident, informed, and comfortable in their bodies.
