As the UK’s leading independent charitable hospital, The London Clinic is thrilled to announce a formal partnership with Cleveland Clinic London, a non-profit healthcare provider opening in 2021, to provide comprehensive oncology services to patients at our respective facilities in central London.
This exciting partnership brings together our two organisations, along with our shared commitment to providing the highest quality patient-centered care and a seamless treatment pathway.
Surgical oncology will be a core service offered by Cleveland Clinic London, which is opening an eight-story, 325,000-square-foot building at 33 Grosvenor Place, central London, in early 2022. The hospital will be preceded by Cleveland Clinic London’s first outpatient centre, at 24 Portland Place in the Harley Street Medical Area, in autumn 2021.
As part of this partnership, The London Clinic, located around Harley Street, will provide medical, radiation and other oncology services to patients who have surgery at Cleveland Clinic London.
We are tremendously proud of our pioneering cancer treatment centre at The London Clinic, located in our Duchess of Devonshire Wing. A state-of-the-art facility spanning eight floors, we achieved a five-star Quality Environment Mark from MacMillan in 2019, which commended it for “providing the highest quality of clinical care for its users within a well-designed, arranged and safe environment”.
As part of our charitable purpose, we remain committed to technological innovation in cancer care.
We also offer our Moving On service, a free of charge survivorship programme for cancer patients.
We are now working to integrate our information technology systems with Cleveland Clinic London to be able to share patient information securely and electronically.
This will enable a seamless multi-disciplinary team approach to patients with cancer, with groups of specialists overseeing each patient’s care pathway to deliver the best possible clinical outcome.
