Bio

Mr Manar Malki delivers expert care across the full spectrum of urological conditions, with particular expertise in kidney stones, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), and complex or long-standing urological problems.

Nationally recognised as one of the UK’s highest-volume robotic kidney surgeons, he combines advanced technical skill with a strong patient-centred ethos, where clear communication and shared decision-making are as important as the treatment itself.

After graduating in medicine from the University of Jordan, Mr Malki completed his urology training within the East Midlands Deanery, spending his final year at the Nottingham University Hospitals Stone Unit, where he gained extensive experience in stone disease management. He went on to undertake a prestigious Royal College of Surgeons–accredited robotic fellowship in kidney cancer surgery at Frimley Park Hospital, an internationally recognised centre of excellence.

His practice spans the full breadth of urology, from common conditions to complex surgery. He is dedicated to providing each patient with a timely diagnosis and a personalised treatment plan tailored to their needs and lifestyle, always delivered with compassion and the highest standards of safety.

Mr Malki offers the latest minimally-invasive procedures for prostate conditions, including Aquablation, Rezūm, and TURP, and performs advanced stone surgery using flexible ureteroscopy, laser technology, and the latest suction systems. As a highly skilled robotic surgeon, he treats both kidney cancer and benign kidney conditions using state-of-the-art technology.

At his NHS Trust, Mr Malki chairs the Renal Cancer Multidisciplinary Team (MDT), collaborating with specialist colleagues to create bespoke treatment plans for each patient. Beyond his clinical practice, he is committed to training the next generation of surgeons. As a certified proctor for two leading robotic surgery systems, he mentors consultant surgeons across the UK to safely and confidently develop their robotic skills.

He has also led service improvements within his hospital, including the introduction of an innovative digital follow-up pathway for patients with stone disease.

Mr Malki is committed to delivering world-class, evidence-based care. He has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and book chapters, and he meticulously audits his surgical outcomes, consistently achieving results that meet or exceed national benchmarks.

  • Prostate issues
  • Prostate cancer
  • Kidney cancer
  • Bladder cancer
  • Robotic and laparoscopic kidney surgery
  • General Urology
I’m particularly excited by the rapid advances in robotic surgery and minimally invasive techniques. New robotic platforms and technologies are allowing us to treat kidney cancer and benign conditions with greater precision, less pain, and faster recovery. Similarly, innovations in stone surgery, such as laser treatments with advanced suction systems, are transforming patient care by improving outcomes and reducing the need for repeat procedures. These developments mean we can offer safer, more effective, and more patient-friendly treatments than ever before.
