Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon

Mr David Lawrence graduated from King’s College London and trained in cardiothoracic surgery in world recognised London, UK hospitals. He has 25 years of experience in heart and lung surgery and been a consultant since 2002. He was awarded an MSc for his surgical research in gene therapy. Mr Lawrence is an experienced surgeon in both conventional and minimally invasive thoracic surgical techniques, and he is fully trained to use the da Vinci Robotic Si Surgical System for thoracic surgical procedures.

Dr Hemal Ariyaratne is a consultant clinical oncologist specialising in lung cancer. His research interests include IGRT, SABR, and integration of immunotherapy. He is the lead for lung radiotherapy and stereotactic ablative body radiotherapy at the NHS Royal Free London, as well as the principal investigator for several clinical trials in thoracic radiotherapy.
