Mr Hamilton is a Consutant Ophthalmic Surgeon specialising in diabetic retinopathy; age-related macular degeneration; retinal vein occlusions; inflammatory eye disease (uveitis); standard and complicated cataract surgery, Toric and multifocal intraocular lenses.
Bio
Mr Robin Hamilton is a consultant ophthalmic surgeon based at Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. He completed his medical training at St Mary’s Hospital, London and his Ophthalmology tariing at Moorfields Eye Hospital. Mr Hamilton has been awarded two Wellcome Trust fellowships during which he completed his doctoral training at the University of Nottingham, beign awarded his DM with distinction. He currently specialises in diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, retinal vein occlusions and uveitis. He is also an accomplished cataract surgeon. Mr Hamilton is a Principal Investigator for several ophthalmology studies and has authored numerous book chapters and publications on diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration and cataract surgery.
