Mr Ranjeev Bhangoo Consultant Profile

Mr. Bhangoo is a Consultant Neurosurgeon and the Clinical Director of Neuroscience at King’s College Hospital and is also the Clinical Director of Neuroscience at The London Clinic.

As a NHS consultant neurosurgeon at London’s largest neurosurgical centre, he maintains a wide general neurosurgical practice in brain and spinal neurosurgery. This includes the management of back and neck pain, sciatica, spinal cord issues and arm pain. His interest in brain surgery includes benign lesions, vascular problems and hydrocephalus. He has a particular interest in brain tumours and the use of minimally invasive techniques such as BrainPath and Visulase for difficult to reach tumours.

Mr. Bhangoo received his medical degree (MBChB Hons) with honours and the medical school Gold Medal as the top ranked student. He completed his training in Neurosurgery as the highest ranked trainee in the United Kingdom and Ireland and was awarded the Norman Dott Gold Medal in Neurosurgery. After his training he undertook a year of super-specialist training in Neurosurgery in leading European centres.

He has published over 100 scientific papers in Neurosurgery and is the Neurosurgeon to the European School of Oncology and the European Society for Therapeutic Radiation and Oncology.
