Mr Jonathan Wilson is a consultant colorectal/general surgeon specialising in abdominal pain, abdominal wall and groin hernias (epigastric, ventral, umbilical, Inguinal, femoral, incisional, recurrent), groin pain, appendicitis, gallstones; colorectal and anal cancer, change in bowel habit, rectal bleeding (haemorrhoids/piles), anal pain and itching, diverticular disease, inflammatory bowel disease- Crohn's and Ulcerative colitis), anal fissure/fistula.
Bio
Mr Jonathan Wilson is a Consultant Colorectal and General Surgeon at the Whittington Health NHS Trust, an Honorary Consultant at University College London Hospital, and also practices privately at The London Clinic Hospital. He specialises in out-patient, emergency and surgical management of all Colorectal and General Surgical conditions (keyhole surgery).
Following his training at Leeds University School of Medicine, he was awarded a PhD for his research into Colorectal Cancer. This prestigious research fellowship was funded by the Medical Research Council and Royal College of Surgeons. In 2000, he became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons.
Mr Wilson is the Chairman of The London Clinic Colorectal Cancer Multidisciplinary Team (MDT).
