Dr Waqar Saleem
Dr Saleem is Consultant Clinical Oncologist, specialising in treatment of CNS tumours (brain & spinal cord), prostate, bladder and skin cancers.
Expert in management of brain metastases with stereotactic radiosurgery using LinAc and Gamma Knife platforms. Trained to deliver Proton Beam Therapy, chemotherapy, novel targeted agents and immunotherapy. He also treats keloid scars.
Bio
After graduating from medical school, Dr. Saleem undertook general medical training and obtained Membership of Royal College of Physicians, London (MRCP). He further trained on the North West London training scheme and qualified as Fellow of Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR). Dr Saleem obtained a Masters in Oncology from the Institute of Cancer Research, London. He currently holds an NHS post at the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.
He is an enthusiastic teacher, Clinical & Educational Supervisor and one of the Oncology Unit Training Leads in Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.
