Kidney stones treatment
If your urologist believes that the stone is too big to pass unaided or is causing an obstruction, you may need surgery to remove it.
Robin was appointed as a Consultant Nephrologist in 1997, originally to Middlesex (UCLH) and Whittington Hospitals but based at the Royal Free Hospital since 2005. He was appointed Clinical Director of North Central London Renal Services in 2006, Divisional Director for Transplantation & Specialist Services in 2009 and Medical Director 2017-19.
He has published widely in Nephrology and Hypertension, and was Chair of the London Specialty Training Committee 2005-12. He has been the Secondary Care Doctor on the Governing Body of Buckinghamshire Clinical Commissioning Group since 2016.
