Dr Darius Armstrong-James

Mr James has a background in internal medicine and infectious diseases, with sub-speciality interest in medical mycology. He also has an academic interest in immunity to fungal infection, with a focus on pulmonary aspergillosis.
Bio
I am a Clinical Senior Lecturer and Honorary Consultant in Infectious Diseases and Medical Mycology at the Royal Brompton and Harefield NHS Trust.
I have a background in internal medicine and infectious diseases, with sub-specialty interest in medical mycology. I have an academic interest in immunity to fungal infection, with a focus on pulmonary aspergillosis.
I am also heavily involved in the development of novel fungal diagnostics and immunotherapies for fungal diseases. In addition I run diagnostic mycology at the Royal Brompton Hospital.
