Prof Dorota Dworakowska
Professor Dworakowska is a consultant endocrinologist with experience in treating thyroid disorders, pituitary problems (tumours. cysts, high prolactin), adrenal problems (deficiencies and tumours), Hashimoto disease, Grave’s disease, obesity, diabetes, pre-diabetes, high-insulin, GLP-1 therapy, hormonal replacement therapy, lipids and hypertension management and preventative medicine.
Professor Dworakowska is a consultant endocrinologist with international experience in treating disorders of thyroid (eg. Hashimoto disease, Graves disease, auto-immune thyroiditis, subacute thyroiditis, positive TPO/Tg antibodies, postpartum thyroiditis, thyroid nodules and goitre, thyroid cancer), pituitary (eg. pituitary nodules/adenomas/cysts, hyper-prolactinaemia), adrenals (eg. nodules, cortisol deficiency, Cushings), endocrine hypertension, pre-diabetes, diabetes, lipid elevation, PCOS, insulin resistance, post-prandial (reactive) hypoglycaemia, testosterone deficiency and vitamin D deficiency.
She collaborates with other specialities to manage non-specific symptoms like fatigue, low libido and hair loss. She supports patients with endocrine problems around IVF, natural conception, pregnancy and post partum.
She provides weight management, using newest GLP-1 therapy. Her main interest relates to personalised, evidence based and holistic care of hormonal problems.

Prof. Dworakowska has an extensive research portfolio in endocrinology, endocrine oncology, endocrine cardiology and general medicine.
She is a Professor at Medical University of Gdansk, Poland and an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer in Cancer Studies at Kings College London. She received a title of Professor in Medicine from a Polish President Mr Duda and Polish Government in 2019. She has published a significant amount of original research papers, reviews and book chapters. She teaches and provides lectures internationally as well as runs international, translational and multidisciplinary research in endocrinology.
She is a memeber of Royal College Physicians, Society for Endocrinology (UK and Poland), The Endocrine Society, European Network of the Adrenal Tumours (ENSAT), Association of British Clinical Diabetologists, UK and Ireland Neuroendocrine Tumours Society, European Society of Endocrinology, ICO, MDU, Independent Doctors Federation and Polish Academy of Science.
