Mr Mostafa Elgohary

Mr Elgohary has special interest in diabetic eye disease and complications, retinal detachment and macular hole repair and traumatic injury and complex cataract procedures.
Bio
Mr Mostafa Elgohary is a Consultant Ophthalmologist specialising in vitreoretinal surgery at Kingston Hospital.
He completed his fellowship training in vitreoretinal surgery at Moorfields Eye Hospital and also trained in paediatric ophthalmology and paediatric vitreoretinal disorders at the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, Canada.
He completed his residency training on the the North Thames London Deanery program that included rotation between Broomfield Hospital, Chelmsford, University College London Hospitals, and Moorfields Eye Hospital, London.
Mr Elgohary has special interest in diabetic eye disease and complications, retinal detachment and macular hole repair and traumatic injury and complex cataract procedures. Mr Elgohary has interest in teaching and lectures regularly to both undergraduate and postgraduate students at UCL as well as to eye doctors at different national and international meetings. He also has published several research papers in the field of cataract surgery and vitreoretinal surgery.
Mr Mostafa Elgohary is married and has two children, his hobbies include walking, jogging and reading on current affairs.
