Mr Haroon Mann
Mr Mann is a USA Fellowship Trained Consultant Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Specialist Surgeon. His dedicated NHS Practice is based at The Royal Free Hospital Hampstead London UK & also Honorary Senior Lecturer UCL Medical School.
Mr Mann graduated from University College London Medical School University of London. After completing his basic surgical training at UCLH, he was awarded both Membership and Fellowship to the Royal College of Surgeons.
Following completion of an Orthopaedic Doctorate in Medicine (M.D.) at the Department of Trauma & Orthopaedics at the Royal Free titled “Haemophilic Arthropathy", he then went on to complete six years of Postgraduate Higher Surgical Trauma & Orthopaedic Training. During this time he rotated through Barts & The Royal London Hospitals, Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital Stanmore and Great Ormond Street Hospital for Sick Children. Successfully completed the Intercollegiate Specialty Examination in Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery FRCS(Trauma & Ortho) in 2008.
Fellowship training was undertaken United States of America in 2009 at the Institute of Foot & Ankle Reconstruction Baltimore Maryland, with world-renowned Foot & Ankle surgeon Dr Mark S Myerson. He also underwent a visiting fellowship at one of the largest dedicated Trauma facilities in the USA - Shock Trauma Centre - University of Maryland Medical Centre. Other visiting fellowships have included France, Holland, Germany, and Switzerland
He has published extensively on bleeding disorders affecting joints, foot & ankle treatment and management. Presented at learned societies both nationally and internationally. He is actively involved in training of surgeons, junior doctors and medical students. In addition remains passionate about research and development.
