Dr Naila Arebi

Dr Naila Arebi is a consultant gastroenterologist and endoscopist specialising in investigation of common gastrointestinal symptoms such as diarrhoea, rectal bleeding, abdominal pain, heartburn and weight loss. She has a particular expertise in inflammatory bowel diseases Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. She leads the IBD service at St Mark's National Bowel Hospital.
Bio
Dr Arebi qualified as a doctor in Malta and completed her higher training in the UK. She is a leader in her field of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD).
She leads the IBD Service at St Mark's National Bowel Hospital and won awards for quality improvement initiatives. She is an elected member of the European Crohn's and Colitis organisation and the British Society of Gastroenterology.
She has an active research portfolio in quality improvement, epidemiology and novel treatment approached to IBD.
Dr Naila Arebi is a keen cyclist.
