Bio

Satya Bhattacharya has over 20 years’ experience as a Consultant Surgeon with a specialist interest in HPB Surgery.

He has set up and led the specialist liver and pancreas service at Barts Health NHS Trust. He chairs the Liver and Pancreas MDT (Multi-disciplinary Tumour meeting) at The London Clinic.

He is an active researcher in the fields of pancreatic and liver cancer, and is Honorary Reader at the Barts Cancer Institute, Queen Mary University of London. He has over 50 research papers, book chapters and reviews to his name. He is an examiner for the FRCS examination.

He qualified at the Grant Medical College, Mumbai, and trained at the Royal Free and University College Hospitals in London.
