Mr Ibrahim is a consultant neurosurgeon with a special interest complex spinal surgery. Mr Ibrahim completed his medical training and higher specialist training in London and went on to complete specialist spinal fellowship training in Toronto, Canada and various places in the USA.

Bio

Mr Ibrahim also undertook a travelling fellowship to premier spinal centres in the USA to complement his training.

Mr Ibrahim has established advanced minimally invasive surgery in complex spinal procedures in both his busy NHS and in his private practice. Mr Ibrahim is an active academic with a PhD in neurosciences and currently co-leading a research programme in the use of stem cells in the treatment of spinal cord injury and neurological dysfunction.

Mr Ibrahim has been awarded numerous prestigious prizes including from the Congress of neurological surgeons/American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the North American Cervical Spine Research Society. Mr Ibrahim won scholarships from the Royal College of England and HCA and in recognition of his achievements.

Mr Ibrahim is also engaged in training and education and is the assigned educational supervisor for higher neurosurgical training. n educator and currently is the School of Surgery assigned educational supervisor for neurosurgery at Queen's Hospital.
