The neurosciences team

At The London Clinic we believe that the teams looking after you should be experienced and focused on looking after patients with specific treatment needs. That’s why our nursing teams are specialised and our brain services are no different.

Neuroscience is the scientific study of the nervous system and the team works with various departments across the hospital in treating conditions of the central nervous system (spinal cord and brain) and the peripheral nervous system. Neurosciences and the spinal team on the 6th floor collaborate to offer patients a second-to-none service.

The neurosciences team is managed by Steve Chudley and is located on the 2nd floor of the main hospital at 20 Devonshire Place.  Stephen is dedicated to providing an excellent service for all, and is supported by eminent consultants who can provide an unparalleled service. Steve also manages the vascular and veins team.

In-house study programmes

The neurosciences team run specialist in-house study programmes for staff in order to keep the team at the cutting edge of the specialties. The team is established and experienced, and this highly trained and skilled team enjoy working together and caring for the neuroscience and vascular patients. The team aims to provide the highest standard of care by using best practice.

Multidisciplinary team focus

Steve Chudley encourages a multidisciplinary focus from the team, emphasising the eclectic nature of the team and the wide and varied experience they bring to the hospital. The team works closely with other departments across the hospital, in particular radiology, endocrinology, The Duchess of Devonshire Wing and the CyberKnife and of course our consultants.
