The CyberKnife at The London Clinic is located in a purpose-built suite in The Duchess of Devonshire Wing.

Consultants who practice at The London Clinic use it as an alternative to surgery for complex or inoperable cases.

It is used to successfully treat small to medium sized tumours within the lung, digestive system, liver, pancreas and other parts of the body.

Our multi-disciplinary team at The London Clinic, led by the clinical oncologists and supported by the medical physics department, use CyberKnife Stereotactic Ablative Body Radiotherapy (SABR) to treat these conditions:

  • Malignant primary brain tumours
  • Malignant primary prostate tumours
  • Malignant primary lung tumours
  • Malignant primary liver tumours
  • Malignant primary pancreatic tumours
  • Secondary tumours in the spine, brain, lung or liver that have formed due to cancer elsewhere in the body
  • Malignant lymphatic nodes in most places in the body that have formed due to a primary cancer elsewhere in the body
  • Some primary tumours that have re-grown after surgery and/or radiotherapy; this includes disease in the abdomen, thorax, head and neck
