Treating Parkinson's with deep brain stimulation

Deep brain stimulation (DBS) is a treatment which can help people with Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders.  Electrodes are planted deep inside the brain and a pulse generator implanted in the patient’s chest, delivers electrical signals – to control abnormal brain rhythms.
