Treatment overview

Our clinic is a convenient solution to access expert treatment after urgent care.

Medical imaging

At The London Clinic, we ensure the highest quality of medical imaging.

We do this by offering a state-of-the-art picture, archiving and communication system (PACS) coupled with advanced imaging technology

If you have had scans at another facility (including the NHS), we can access these through the national image exchange portal.

Please complete our online referral form before your initial appointment.

FAQs

The clinic works by giving you fast track access to some of the most experienced consultants in the UK.

Our orthopaedic surgeons have a wealth of knowledge when it comes to diagnosing and managing soft tissue and bone injuries.

They will discuss the best treatment options with you and answer any questions you might have.

Here at The London Clinic, we are proud to be a centre of expertise for joint injuries and bone fractures.

The main benefits of attending the virtual injury and fracture clinic include:

  • Peace of mind about your fracture, pain or injury
  • Quick diagnosis and treatment
  • Immediate access to an expert medical opinion
  • Getting seen sooner rather than later can reduce pain and recovery time

The benefits you can expect from your treatment plan depends on your personal circumstances.

Your consultant will discuss all aspects of these with you during your consultation.

The most common cause of discomfort in the neck and back is musculoskeletal pain.

Muscles around your neck and back can become strained, overstretched or damaged, leading to pain.

Neck pain can be accompanied by the following symptoms:

  • Neck stiffness

  • Headache

Pain that travels down the back of the leg can be due to a condition called sciatica..

This is caused by a pinching of the sciatic nerve as it travels from the spine down to the leg.

Our specialist orthopaedic consultants are experts in the diagnosis and treatment of the cause of your back or neck pain.

We have a dedicated team of highly experienced chartered physiotherapists whose number one priority is to support you with your recovery.

Following the onset of pain or an acute injury, they will work with you to create a personalised treatment plan.

Your physiotherapist will encourage tissue recovery by carefully introducing a number of exercises and physical therapies.

The physiotherapist will help to restore your normal range of motion by identifying your individual needs and designing a specific plan of treatment around you.

These exercises will treat and strengthen the problem area to reduce the risk of repeated injury.
