Book an appointment

Our dedicated appointments team will arrange for you to meet with one of our practitioners. This will be a dermatologist or an aesthetician.

During the initial consultation, you will discuss your expectations from treatment with us.

When you are ready to start your treatment plan, you will see us at The London Clinic for one session every four to six weeks. We will advise you on how many treatments you need.

As part of your aftercare, The London Clinic team will offer regular check-ups, remotely and in person.

If you have any questions or concerns, our specialist team will always be on hand with advice and support.

You’ll have a follow-up with your practitioner to discuss any concerns, side effects, and ways to improve your results.

Treatment options

We offer laser treatments specifically for skin rejuvenation. Your practitioner might recommend a different pathway.

This will depend on your skin concerns and medical history. The other non-surgical treatments we offer include:

Dermal fillers

Anti-wrinkle injections

PDO thread lift

Skin tightening

Chemical peels

Medical-grade facials

Non-surgical facelift

Based on your concerns, we also offer various cosmetic surgery procedures with our leading surgeons.

Laser skin treatments work in different ways, depending on the type of laser and skin condition we want to treat.

Ablative laser resurfacing

Ablative laser resurfacing removes the very top layer of the skin (the epidermis) and encourages new growth in the cells below. The dead skin will scab over for a few weeks, before falling away to reveal softer, smoother skin.

We can apply the laser beam across the full face. It can also be targeted at your specific concerns including any fine lines and wrinkles.

Non-ablative laser resurfacing

These treatments do not remove your skin. They stimulate collagen growth and create a smoother and more youthful appearance.

Selective laser treatments

This uses particular light frequencies that are absorbed by pigments or blood cells to target the dermis. Over a number of sessions, the energy from the laser gradually destroys the unwanted pigmentation or thread vein.

The benefits that you might expect from laser skin resurfacing treatments include:

  • Reduction in the size and appearance of acne scars
  • Reduction in the size and appearance of thread veins and stretch marks
  • Less noticeable facial lines and wrinkles
  • A brighter and more youthful appearance
  • Skin confidence and a new lease of life

Laser skin resurfacing treatments can deliver wonderful results after some downtime to allow for recovery.

You may get side effects such as skin bruising, blistering and scabbing. This happens when the skin begins to repair itself during the healing process.

Marks on the treated area may last for up to 10 days and scabs need to be left alone to allow for the best possible results.

Your practitioner will advise you on the best moisturisers to prevent the skin from drying out. You will need to avoid applying make-up until the blistering has healed.

We also recommend that all skincare products are as mild and sensitive as possible.

Your newly recovered skin is particularly vulnerable to burning. We advise you to avoid sun exposure for at least 6 months.

You can protect your skin from the sun when you’re outdoors by wearing a high factor SPF sunscreen and a wide-brimmed hat.
