At The London Clinic, the service we provide is always focused around our patients, and forms a vital part of treatment and recovery. We offer a bespoke, tailored food service which is dedicated to giving you the best nutritious and flavoursome dishes.

Bespoke Patient-focused service 


Our food service involves three dining selections per day including breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our catering team will tailor special meals to meet your needs and palate, with guidance from our expert Registered Dietitians.

Every Wednesday, the menus are changed by our Executive Chef, Paul Francis O’Brien for plenty of choice, especially for patients staying with us for longer periods of time.

Our Executive Chef, Paul Francis O’Brien joined The London Clinic after working at some of the finest Michelin-starred restaurants in the world and 10 years at the luxury Bloomsbury Hotel. Overseeing our food service, he stays true to defining the ethos of quality, innovation and patient care synonymous with The London Clinic.

A 2018 winner of The Caterer Acorn Award, Jack Davies, has pushed the boundaries of private health care cookery as our Executive Sous Chef. He interprets cuisine in a contemporary way using the freshest and most seasonal produce, sourced for their quality and health benefits.

We source and cook a careful selection of seasonal produce to create our menus, and champion the companies who supply us. The London Clinic is proud of its long-standing relationship with suppliers such as Smithfield meat market, Billingsgate, Home Counties farms and Cornish day boats. Fruit, vegetables, meat and fish are delivered to The London Clinic six days a week.

Choose from numerous breakfasts of blueberries, yoghurt and granola, creamy avocado or scrambled egg, all dusted with fresh herbs. And in keeping with our international service, Paul has specially created a series of dishes to celebrate Ramadan, and other religious festivals.

In our new menu you can find dishes to suit all tastes such as Pan Fried Tiger Prawns and Harissa, Stir Fry Beef with Ramen Noodles and Brocoli or the a classic Crepe Suzette. Our Pastry Chef, Rebecca Romeo, has created some pastry recipes that are delicious while keeping in line with our healthy options and enhancing recovery.

A personal approach 

At The London Clinic, we cater to your specific needs and preferences, as conditions may alter choice and variety.

Specific treatments can really affect your senses, and you may not be able to taste some foods particularly well. Our catering team can create special menus, to try and help patients when they have altered taste as a result of their treatment.

At The London Clinic you are not just having your food prepared, but a Chef who listens to your requirements, taking into account your dietary needs to and working closely with our dietitians to perfect the ideal menu for recovery.

New bespoke menus inspired by you

The London Clinic has recently launched new patient menus. The dishes are carefully designed to provide you with nutritious, healthy food that is full of flavour, texture and variety. Special therapeutic menus designed by our Dietitians to support healing and recuperation.

Our patients have played a central role in the development of our new menus. We piloted a variety of dishes and gained feedback to ensure we offer the best possible options for you. Menus for specific therapeutic diets are only printed after being approved by our Dietitians.

The Duchess of Devonshire Wing Café

The Duchess of Devonshire Wing café is open from 8.30am to 6.30pm on weekdays and provides a calm setting for patients and visitors away from the hospital environment.

Light lunches, pastries and snacks as well as a wide range of hot and cold beverages are served.

Purchases at The Duchess of Devonshire Wing are payable at the time of the visit. Or if you are a patient your bill can be charged to your room.
