At The London Clinic, the service we provide is always focused around our patients, and forms a vital part of treatment and recovery. We offer a bespoke, tailored food service which is dedicated to giving you the best nutritious and flavoursome dishes.

Bespoke Patient-focused service 


Our food service involves three dining selections per day including breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our catering team will tailor special meals to meet your needs and palate, with guidance from our expert Registered Dietitians.

Every Wednesday, the menus are changed by our Executive Chef, Paul Francis O’Brien for plenty of choice, especially for patients staying with us for longer periods of time.

We source and cook a careful selection of seasonal produce to create our menus, and champion the companies who supply us. The London Clinic is proud of its long-standing relationship with suppliers such as Smithfield meat market, Billingsgate, Home Counties farms and Cornish day boats. Fruit, vegetables, meat and fish are delivered to The London Clinic six days a week.

The London Clinic food service recipes

Choose from numerous breakfasts of blueberries, yoghurt and granola, creamy avocado or scrambled egg, all dusted with fresh herbs. And in keeping with our international service, Paul has specially created a series of dishes to celebrate Ramadan, and other religious festivals.

In our new menu you can find dishes to suit all tastes such as Pan Fried Tiger Prawns and Harissa, Stir Fry Beef with Ramen Noodles and Brocoli or the a classic Crepe Suzette. Our Pastry Chef, Rebecca Romeo, has created some pastry recipes that are delicious while keeping in line with our healthy options and enhancing recovery.

A personal approach 

At The London Clinic, we cater to your specific needs and preferences, as conditions may alter choice and variety.

Specific treatments can really affect your senses, and you may not be able to taste some foods particularly well. Our catering team can create special menus, to try and help patients when they have altered taste as a result of their treatment.

At The London Clinic you are not just having your food prepared, but a Chef who listens to your requirements, taking into account your dietary needs to and working closely with our dietitians to perfect the ideal menu for recovery.

The Duchess of Devonshire Wing Café

The Devonshire Café is open from 7.30am to 5.30pm every weekday, and provides a calm setting for patients and visitors away from the hospital environment.

A range of products from The Soho Sandwich Company, Paul Rhodes Artisan Bakery and Lavazza coffee are available alongside a wide selection of other food and beverages.
