Professor Adrian Wilson is a world renowned knee and sports injury specialist with a global reputation for knee realignment surgery (osteotomy). One of Europe’s foremost authorities in the field of ACL/ligament repair, he has developed revolutionary techniques for treating sports injuries. He is a Visiting Professor to the department of Sport & Exercise at the University of Winchester.

Professor Adrian Wilson's primary objective is always to restore function to the knee using proven, minimally invasive techniques, many of which have been refined by him during his career. His focus is on repairing and preserving knee function so patients can return to the activities they enjoy as quickly and safely as possible.
He has pioneered ground-breaking techniques for ACL repair and anterolateral ligament (ALL) repair, as an alternative to reconstruction for damaged cruciate ligaments, and many of these are now routinely used worldwide.
His patients frequently travel from outside the UK and he regularly speaks and demonstrates orthopaedic techniques to international audiences. He has a BScHons in biochemistry and is also a Visiting Professor to the department of Sport & Exercise at the University of Winchester and run's a highly sought after London knee fellowship.
He co-founded the first national database for osteotomy surgery, an alternative to knee replacement surgery, especially in younger, active patients. He continue's to innovate to further improve this joint preserving procedure.
He is an invited member of the European Society for Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery and Arthroscopy (ESSKA) Osteotomy and Knee Arthroscopy committees.
