Miss Henrietta Wilson is a Consultant Adult Thoracic Surgeon. She specialises in a minimally invasive approach for the management of lung cancer, mediastinal tumours, pulmonary metastases, and complex thoracic cancers. She has a particular interest in the management of anterior mediastinal masses and robotic thymectomy for myasthenia gravis.

Bio

Miss Wilson qualified from Guy's, King's and St Thomas' medical school with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 2006. During her medical degree she also achieved an integrated BSc in Psychology. Following medical school, she went on to train in Cardiothoracic Surgery in specialist units at the Royal Brompton and Harefield and Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals. She became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Cardiothoracic surgery in 2015.

Her specialist training has allowed her to achieve a high level of experience in both minimally invasive and complex open techniques. She has a particular interest in the management of anterior mediastinal masses and robotic thymectomy for myasthenia gravis. She also specialise in minimally invasive thoracic surgery and can offer patients robotic assisted lobectomy and segmentectomy for both malignant and benign disease, performing 95% of lung resections through a minimally invasive approach. She works as a proctor for Intuitive Surgery Ltd. teaching others robotic surgery in the UK and Europe.
