Dr Ruheena Mendes
Dr Mendes is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist, specialising in head and neck cancer and lung cancer. Her expertise is in the radiation and chemotherapy delivery for these conditions and in particular the role of advanced radiation techniques such as Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy, Stereotactic Radiotherapy and Proton Therapy.
Bio
Dr Mendes trained in Oncology in London (The Royal Marsden Hospital and St Bartholomew's Hospital) and is currently a consultant at University college London Hospital, She developed was the lead for Technical radiotherapy, Stereotactic Radiotherapy for lung cancer and metastatic disease. Her interest lie in providing highly technical radiotherapy for the cancers that she treats. She actively participates in research and is well published.
