Dr Benjamin Taylor

Dr Benjamin Taylor specialises in the treatment of lung cancer, cancer of the bowel and rectum, anal cancer and liver cancer.
Bio
Dr Ben Taylor is a Consultant in Clinical Oncology specialising in the treatment of bowel and lung cancers.
Dr Taylor’s NHS post is Consultant Clinical Oncologist at Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. He is also SABR lead at Guy’s Cancer Centre, London.
Dr Taylor graduated from University of Dundee Medical School, Scotland with first class honours. He was awarded the highly competitive PPP Healthcare Scholarship to complete a BMSc degree in Forensic Medicine. He completed his specialist registrar training at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Birmingham, University Hospital Coventry, Royal Sussex County Hospital Brighton and Royal Surrey County Hospital Guildford.
Dr Taylor’s research interests include two years as a Research Fellow at King’s College London, based in the Cancer Imaging department at Guy’s & St. Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. He has published in a wide range of medical papers and journals and presented at conferences nationally.
Dr Taylor plays an active role in medical education and participates in the specialist registrar teaching programme teaching FRCR part II and Radiotherapy as well as the oncology SHO ward-based doctors’ teaching.
