Mr Timothy Briggs qualified from St Bartholomew's Hospital in 1984. After he gained the FRCS, he trained further in general surgery before embarking on a career in urology. Mr Briggs trained at The Middlesex Hospital and spent 10 months in Sydney, Australia.
He was a Consultant Urologist from 1997 until 2012 at the Royal Free and Barnet. From 2012, he began working in the Pelvic Cancer Centre at UCLH and is now full time at UCLH.
Mr Briggs’ areas of interest are prostate cancer, bladder cancer and robotic surgery. He also maintains an interest in general urology and female incontinence with urodynamics.
Mr Briggs is married with three children and is a keen cyclist.
