Professional profile

Jack Edmonds qualified from the Royal Free Hospital in 1978.  A member of the Royal College of General Practice since 1982 and made a Fellow in May 2016, Dr Jack entered private General Practice in 1986 having been an NHS GP Principal in Camden.  

He is accredited in general family medicine and has special interests in health screening, preventative medicine, occupational and company health, entertainment and performance medicine. 

Dr Edmonds Practice has earned a reputation for high professional standards and is greatly respected in the medical community as a result of his 30 plus years working with consultant colleagues.

Dr Edmonds is a Fellow of The Royal College of General Practice, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine and a member of the Society of Occupational Medicine.

Owing to his knowledge and expertise in the private medical field he was elected as Chairman of the Independent Doctors’ Federation  between 2009 - 2012.  He remains an active Committee member of the IDF and has been a past member of Council for the Chelsea Clinical Society.    He continues to champion discussions between the profession and the Insurance Companies for the benefit of private patients and colleagues.
