Professional profile

Dr Paviour is a Consultant Neurologist with a busy NHS and private practice. He graduated in 1998 after training in London, winning the Medical School Gold Medal. Following medical jobs in London and at the Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals and passing his MRCP examinations, he returned to London and completed a PhD at the Institute of Neurology in 2006 before completing specialist Neurology training in London.

Dr Paviour has published peer-reviewed papers in high-quality neurology and general medical journals. Much of his published research is in the field of degenerative movement disorders.

Dr Paviour has expertise in the diagnosis and effective management of patients with a broad range of acute and chronic neurological disorders as well as having a specialist interest in Movement Disorders. He is a member of the International Parkinsons and Movement Disorders Society as well as the American Academy of Neurology and the Associaition of British Neurologists.
